I wish all of you, my friends, a very Happy Thanksgiving. If you want to comment, how about today, you mention what your favorite "traditional" Thanksgiving food is?
For me, my favorite food I look forward to on Thanksgiving are lightly candied yams. I would say that I like the warm, sweet resiliency of the candied yam even more than what I suspect is my second favorite item from this holiday, pumpkin pie.

Goal for today (Thursday) = 4 bowls
Wednesday's Goal = 5 bowls
Actual Consumption = 7 bowls

I appreciate all forms of comments on my writings. I find that I miss the sponteneity of coming to read them here when they were unmoderated. I believe I wrote less due to the moderation. I have decided to adopt limited moderation. Hopefully the prior problems with unfettered comments will not arise again. Please feel free to comment as you wish about the essays I write. I will maintain those comments that offer kind-hearted and gentle opinion... be it positive or negative. The opinions of your comments will, of course, need to have relevance to the post as well.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, too, Pipe.
ReplyDeleteMine would be homemade Oyster Dressing...YUM!
I like everything but the yams, just never did like them.
ReplyDeleteHelen and I will go to the community dinner at the catlick church, those catlick cocksuckers put on a good meal.
Pumpkin pie is my favorite also.
Have a relaxing day and try to stick to your goal, I'm to where I can go three or four hours without a few puffs.
Wish you too PT.
