Yes, I am still smoking my pipe (regularly) and drinking ethanol based beverages (occasionally). In my effort to force myself into happiness, I am not attempting at this time to be overly drastic in my attempts to stop either one of the above. However, I am also not choosing to go hog-wild in either as well. In a perfect world, I would like to smoke my pipe one day a week and drink perhaps twice a month. The drinking is at that level and is pretty consistent, but the pipe smoking is not. But, for the time being I am just going with the flow with only the caveat that I will try to reduce consumption when it is convenient to do so on a day-to-day basis.

I appreciate all forms of comments on my writings. I find that I miss the sponteneity of coming to read them here when they were unmoderated. I believe I wrote less due to the moderation. I have decided to adopt limited moderation. Hopefully the prior problems with unfettered comments will not arise again. Please feel free to comment as you wish about the essays I write. I will maintain those comments that offer kind-hearted and gentle opinion... be it positive or negative. The opinions of your comments will, of course, need to have relevance to the post as well.
Me thinks you work too hard at being happy instead of just rolling with the flow. Define happy for me?
ReplyDeleteHell, I still smoke, Doc Teri still smokes, we're not beating ourselves up about it.
Your walking for so many days is a great achievement. *pats on the back*
I've met damn few people over the years that could take smoking casually, just smoke a little on certain occasions.
ReplyDeleteAnd none of them were long term smokers, you are either a smoker or a non smoker, a long term smoker should never smoke again if they can whip that habit.
I will try to reduce consumption when it is convenient to do so on a day-to-day basis.
ReplyDeleteWell, fuck yeah, lets make it convenient, hahahahaha.
