Willy Wonka

Just came home from a regional theater version of Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.  Many of us have seen one or both of the films.  But to see the show as a theater production adds a little more to it that you don't get from the films.  The films are wonderful too though.

It is an allegory about choices in life.  To be truthful and kind, versus being a glutton, or selfish, or greedy, or self centered.  It was a wonderful musical and it gave me a great feeling of happiness watching and listening.

  1. Live performances are generally better than the movies.

Hey, are you staying warm over there?

I appreciate all forms of comments on my writings. I find that I miss the sponteneity of coming to read them here when they were unmoderated. I believe I wrote less due to the moderation. I have decided to adopt limited moderation. Hopefully the prior problems with unfettered comments will not arise again. Please feel free to comment as you wish about the essays I write. I will maintain those comments that offer kind-hearted and gentle opinion... be it positive or negative. The opinions of your comments will, of course, need to have relevance to the post as well.
