Socks and Toenails

My toenails grow so damn fast (well, my fingernails do too) that I am regularly slicing through the ends of my socks with my big toenail.  I probably should trim my toenails twice a week, but I have been realistically aiming to cut them once a week.... and usually end up in truth doing so once every two weeks..... or until I find another sock with a big toe hole in it!  When I take off my shoe and see another hole, I grumble and cuss under my breath, and get out the damn trimmer again.

    cut them while you can. being able to cut our own toenails is a skill that diminishes as we age and is a key indicator of our physical competence.

    at the rosewater foundation we offer free toenail clipping every sunday morning. having eliot clip your toenails is much better than having pope francis clip your wallet.

    I guess I do mine about once a month, or less. Haven't been wearing socks here in Texas.

    Einstein never did wear them I guess.

    I think I need some sort of special sock sometimes, perhaps a steel toed sock.

I appreciate all forms of comments on my writings. I find that I miss the sponteneity of coming to read them here when they were unmoderated. I believe I wrote less due to the moderation. I have decided to adopt limited moderation. Hopefully the prior problems with unfettered comments will not arise again. Please feel free to comment as you wish about the essays I write. I will maintain those comments that offer kind-hearted and gentle opinion... be it positive or negative. The opinions of your comments will, of course, need to have relevance to the post as well.
