Writing & Not Writing

I haven't been saying much of late.  Not exactly sure why.  I miss writing here, as it is the most intimate way I have to put feelings onto "paper".

But, I am feeling well.  I am getting close to having ran 900 miles since June (I average between 28 and 30 miles of running a week) and I am still walking.  Politics and its chaos has become more of a struggle to keep interested in.  DeVos, who will be voted on today is a true nightmare for education and the EPA guy is horrific for the environment.  Those  are about the only two I keep track of anymore because there is just too much chaos in Washington right now.

I have been working a bit on my tenor saxophone, tearing it apart.  That is about it.

Today would be my beloved mot he's birthday.  She would be 89 today if still alive.  I do miss her and Dad a great deal.

  1. Will you play your saxaphone after you're done working on it? Our grandson gave up the clarinet in favor of the guitar. (He said playing the clarinet hurt his teeth. He wears braces right now.) I hope it's not forever, because I really began to enjoy clarinet music because of him.

  2. I'm glad to hear you're feeling well again. And having warm thoughts about your late parents says positive things about your mental state.

I appreciate all forms of comments on my writings. I find that I miss the sponteneity of coming to read them here when they were unmoderated. I believe I wrote less due to the moderation. I have decided to adopt limited moderation. Hopefully the prior problems with unfettered comments will not arise again. Please feel free to comment as you wish about the essays I write. I will maintain those comments that offer kind-hearted and gentle opinion... be it positive or negative. The opinions of your comments will, of course, need to have relevance to the post as well.
