Crock Pot
My wife and I bought ourselves a new, slightly larger crock-pot for Christmas. We have been so heavily using our current one which is close to 20 years old that it is showing some wear. Not that we are going to get rid of it by any means! We now can use the new one as our primary one, BUT, we can actually make either a) larger quantities of some of the wonderful food and freeze more portions for easy use or b) make two different items at once and still have some to freeze of both items! We made a wonderful potato & cauliflower curry yesterday to break it in.

I appreciate all forms of comments on my writings. I find that I miss the sponteneity of coming to read them here when they were unmoderated. I believe I wrote less due to the moderation. I have decided to adopt limited moderation. Hopefully the prior problems with unfettered comments will not arise again. Please feel free to comment as you wish about the essays I write. I will maintain those comments that offer kind-hearted and gentle opinion... be it positive or negative. The opinions of your comments will, of course, need to have relevance to the post as well.
We don't use ours a lot. Should do better.
ReplyDeleteWe have for the last couple of years been really fond of “stew” type dishes and have been also making a lot of recipes both a whole range of different dried beans as well.
DeleteIt been ages since we used a pot crock
ReplyDeleteI really need a new pressure cooker. How did you make your cauliflower and potato curry? Younger Son is doing veganuary so I need to find some good vegan recipes for when they come for dinner.
