Brief post.... Just another very stressful and chaotic day associated with the ongoing governmental service making my U life excessively chaotic and exhausting. I am again carrying my pipe with me. Not sure if it is really a good thing to do or a bad thing. Fiddling around with it is helpful in many ways, but it is also bringing back a lot of memories and desires to progress with it more fully.
Oh, well.

I appreciate all forms of comments on my writings. I find that I miss the sponteneity of coming to read them here when they were unmoderated. I believe I wrote less due to the moderation. I have decided to adopt limited moderation. Hopefully the prior problems with unfettered comments will not arise again. Please feel free to comment as you wish about the essays I write. I will maintain those comments that offer kind-hearted and gentle opinion... be it positive or negative. The opinions of your comments will, of course, need to have relevance to the post as well.
Firing up your pipe won't make the crabby people go away. It may even make some of them crabbier. But would it make you any more comfortable in coping with the crabby people? Or would it leave you just as exhausted and frustrated, but also feeling like a failure?
ReplyDeleteOnly you can know what you really want to do, and to be. Only you can know whether re-engaging your old briar friends will give you great comfort, or whether you'll be filled with guilt and remorse. All I can say is, "Be yourself" -- whatever "yourself" may mean to you.
I worry about you sometimes..that you're not happy..
