Experientialism

I am leaning towards trying to begin a focus in my life where I live primairly via experience.  This may seem a bit tautological.  However, to actually focus on the experience instead of simply being blown about in the wind by experience is a different sort of idea for me.  I am thinking it may shape my mind and my emotions in a more positive direction.  I will contemplate this during the weekend and see how I may be able to put it into practice come Monday.

  2. I suggest you ignore the above comment.

It's always been my impression that my whole life has been the result of experiences, sometimes on the wind.

The SOPS thing doesn't seem to be going so well but the walking is right on track.

  14. Just to say hello, PT. I hope the weather is better now.
We're almost in summer, with day temperatures of 40 degrees C. Humidity thankfully, at a minimal.

  16. A haiku from long ago (1817) and far away . . .

    nightingale--
    he doesn't mind
    my pipe smoke

    .鶯やたばこけぶりもかまはずに
uguisu ya tabako kemuri mo kamawazu ni

Notice that the Japanese took the word "tabako" into their language.

I appreciate all forms of comments on my writings. I find that I miss the sponteneity of coming to read them here when they were unmoderated. I believe I wrote less due to the moderation. I have decided to adopt limited moderation. Hopefully the prior problems with unfettered comments will not arise again. Please feel free to comment as you wish about the essays I write. I will maintain those comments that offer kind-hearted and gentle opinion... be it positive or negative. The opinions of your comments will, of course, need to have relevance to the post as well.
