I have relished cucumbers all my life. One of my earliest memories from childhood was when I was about two years old (I know the rough age because I know from my mother that I was no longer in that particular high chair after I was two years old) and eating cucumber rings from the metal table of my high chair.
I will eat cucumbers in any form.... fresh, in salads, pickled in one way or another (dill, Polish, hot-and-spicy, bread-and-butter, candied, and sweet (in order of preference)).
I have never met a cucumber I did not like.
I am still in the void, but I am trying to fix it.

I appreciate all forms of comments on my writings. I find that I miss the sponteneity of coming to read them here when they were unmoderated. I believe I wrote less due to the moderation. I have decided to adopt limited moderation. Hopefully the prior problems with unfettered comments will not arise again. Please feel free to comment as you wish about the essays I write. I will maintain those comments that offer kind-hearted and gentle opinion... be it positive or negative. The opinions of your comments will, of course, need to have relevance to the post as well.
Helen never met a cucumber she didn't like either but I guess we won't go there on this blog. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love cucumbers one of the best soups I have ever had was a cucumber avacado soup that was served chilled...yummy! And i much prefer cucumber relish over any other ones.
ReplyDeleteHope you are doing better.
Perhaps a cucumber might fill your void?
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the things I can eat! I must admit the sandwiches are a particular favorite.
ReplyDeleteFILL. THE. VOID.
ReplyDeleteBE. A. MAN.
DO. IT. NOW.
My grandmother often said, "I like cucumbers, but they don't like me." I think they like me a little better, but our relationship is tepid.
ReplyDeleteOthers ask me what in the hell is wrong with you, how in the hell would I know.
ReplyDeleteGet off your ass and do another post.
