Swimming Pleasure

When I came down with my severe nasal/pharyngeal infection at Christmas, it put the kibosh on my plans to swim a great deal during the break.   That was sad, but there was no way I was feeling up to the task to swim.

I do wish to report, however, that yesterday, I and my wife both returned to the pool for the first time in the new decade.  It was wonderful and relaxing.

  1. Good for you two. Must be something that living in upstate New York that makes you more tolerant of the cold. The idea of getting into any kind of a pool--even an indoor pool--send chills up my spine.

  2. i feel your discomfort. went to the ear specialist a few days ago and the son of a bitch stuck a camera up my nose then almost ran it in as far as a colonoscopy probe.

at least they give you a sedative when they ram the colonoscopy camera up your arse.
