Cleaning, Teeth, Etc.

Still in the midst of a helluva lot of work.  Right now it happens to be cleaning, but there have been so damn many things I have had to do that my head spins thinking about it (unfortunately, not in a good way, like after ample libations).

An unfortunate event has happened also, that while in the greater scheme of things, is relatively minor, it is a royal pain in the posterior to have happen during all this excessive busyness.  I take very meticulous care of my teeth.  I do so for an array o reasons... To avoid pain, to have good gums, and also because I am at risk for dental problems due my having what the dentist calls "severe" TMJ (Temporandibular Joint Disorder) which I have spoken about previously.

Because I am so meticulous, I have pretty damn good teeth for a fellow my age.  But, due to an unfortunate accident about 16 years ago, I have ONE molar that has a "cap" on it made of porcelain.  Unfortunately, that damnable 16 year old cap broke (a piece of it) a few days ago.  When it first happened, I was afraid I broke a tooth, but it fortunately was only the cap.  The doctor says the tooth underneath is fine.  But, now in all this busyness, I have to squeeze in several appointments to get it replaced.

Cry me a river, Doc! I've had a chipped crown for the last three weeks and I'm busier than the beauty of the brothel. I scheduled an appointment for next month and in the mean time I look like a hockey player.

But you don't see me complaining and I'm a damn whiner! Hell, my daddy always used to note that I'd never suffer alone. I take pride in making sure that everyone I love knows when I'm inconvenienced. But I must bow to your superior bellyaching.

Can't you appeal to the wife for a little dispensation.

When are you gonna say something about the difference between the two living Popes? For heaven's sake, such an opportunity only comes about once a millennium. Surely you have some comment.

Your dentist wants to save your fucking teeth because without them he/she can't make any money off of you for a really nice home and newer toys.

Fuck them, bad teeth are always trying to kill you and you can get dentures that look better than your natural teeth ever will, if you are that vain about how your teeth look.

I have never missed my fucking teeth.

Your god doesn't appear to give a fuck about your teeth either being as you have to pay big bucks to try to save them.

Several appointments to get it replaced?

How many are several?

Three isnt several so it must be four ? five ?

Otherwise you would say a half- dozen?

Something ain't right here and I'm gonna find out what!
