Off to the Races
Well, another semester is starting and I am off and on my way. Wish me luck, as I will likely be damn tired, and my voice will be worn out after not speaking in that manner for many, many weeks.

Cowboy up buddy, I can still talk bullshit to a room full of a hundred monkeys without a mic.
Did some teaching myself once, sometimes it's hard to teach these idiots anything.
Good luck dealing with the new crew of students.
BTW - I just remembered I had not answered your question about bicycle tires.
Yes it is normal for bike tires to drop in pressure over time. Tubes are made of natural rubber and will percolate air over time. How much depends on the density of the rubber after molding. The higher the pressure, the faster it will percolate until it reaches an equilibrium with the gaps in the rubber. I check air pressure in my road bike (high pressure tires) before every ride. On my mountain bike, maybe once a wekk or so.
