Today I am hoping to have a pleasant day. I plan to get a lot done at work, I plan to get as prepared as I can for the whole week, and if I am lucky, I may be able to go see a late afternoon movie with my wife. She loves romantic comedies, so we are thinking to go see the new film with Reese Witherspoon that just opened. My run this morning was very nice and it was abbot warmer too... 49 degrees!!!

About the Author: The Frumpy Professor has a Ph.D. in Zoology with specialization in endocrinology. He is active in both research and teaching. His rather furry-face is salt-and-pepper grey, and he sports wire-rimmed glasses. In addition to pipe-smoking, philosophy, drinking, and writing, he is an avid hunter and fisherman.

You are so lucky - to be able to make plans, mine seldom, if ever, turn out. Sounds like good ones, especially the one of going to the movies with your wife! Enjoy!
I envy you your ability to live completely in a bubble and not allow the events unfolding in the world around you to "disturb" you! Enjoy your movie.
