Stuffed Peppers

I am not really in a mood to think about much emotionally or mentally. I am just going to work today, and try to get things off my plate here at the U.   That is....  until I can get home and EAT things off my dinner plate.  Tonight, I am in charge of the kitchen, and I am going to make stuffed peppers, yams, and a mixed vegetable and wheat berry dish with a herb and garlic sauce.

Monday was February 25.
I think it is important to be accurate with numbers. They are the only objective truth we humans possess.

Thank you for pointing that out. I have made the correction. I do also see them as am objective truth in a vague, challenging world.

Brief Note:

"am" should of course be "an" in the above.

Are you a vegetarian, P-Frump? If so, do you hunt purely for the thrill of the kill?

No I don't, I don't even want to see you here but being as Pipe is a friend I must tolerate you here.

It is disconcerting to me to discover that you, Herr Professor, are rather selective in your determination of who is offensive - and to whom the offence is directed.

This is decidedly not the much self-lauded American trait we from the Developing World are lead to believe is paramount to The American Way of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Query?
Do others here even have a 'right' to 'tolerate' the presence of still others here? Do some Americans only 'tolerate' immigrants because the US Government is a 'friend' and allows these immigrants to be in the country?
Is your country, the US of A, that sad?

You silver-tongued devil. Keep it up, I'll eventually succumb to your wiles.

Herr Professor?
Are comments that are the diametrical opposite to that which normally gets deleted 'round here also warrant deletion? For the purposes of emotive symmetry and to avoid skewing the timbre and tonal aspects of this here Facility, I reckon they should be.

Hello Everyone:

BBC stated:

"I love stuffed peppers but never make them, can I come to dinner?"

Leslie asked:

"Are you a vegetarian, P-Frump? If so, do you hunt purely for the thrill of the kill?"

My responses:

BBC, I would gladly invite you to dinner, but you are very far away, so that is not feasible. I am sure that someday if it were to happen, we could have it occur where my whole family is around. I am certain they would enjoy your company.

Leslie, that is a good question, but is a bit more complex than would be easy for me to answer here. I will make it the focus of my writings on this blog. tomorrow.

Finally, for ALT-F, I do agree with the idea of tolerance and kindness, and with that in mind, I will be removing posts that seem to me to have content that is negative towards you, or BBC, or anyone.

Addendum:

I forgot to add.... ALT-F states:

"Do some Americans only 'tolerate' immigrants because the US Government is a 'friend' and allows these immigrants to be in the country?
Is your country, the US of A, that sad?"

As far as what "my country" does, I unfortunately have no control. What anyone does in our government these days is beyond my naieveta and understanding.

I tend to be politically a liberal in my beliefs for most rights, social justice, and political issues. I tend to live my actual life in a fashion that is typically much more on the conservative side.

Damn, my spelling is especially rough today. It must be my fingers are tired, I have been writing on the blackboards and dry erase boards for three hours. The above mishmash of letters above should be:

"naivete"

"naïveté" actually.
Don't forget the all important diacriticals.

"......Finally, for ALT-F, I do agree with the idea of tolerance and kindness, and with that in mind, I will be removing posts that seem to me to have content that is negative towards you, or BBC, or anyone......"

Are you sure you possess the cognitive facility necessary to make an informed and defensible determination as to the seeming seemliness of any given comment you might find here 'bouts? Your posts of late do not impress one as the prose that might be composed by an individual who is entirely 'compos mentis'.
Just saying.

And for which 'rights' are you politically illiberal?

I think I am what should be the "liberal" positions on everything. My position does not jibe well with one or perhaps two items that in my opinion do not make sense in terms of main-stream liberal ideas.

"What should be the liberal position"?

Should be?

That in itself is an outrageously illiberal statement.

"......But since this is only a blog, I will simply do my best....."

Only a blog?

ONLY???!!!???

To some a blog is their only social outlet. They have no meaningful human interaction in real life. Access to blogs is all that keeps these folks from becoming a mass murderer.

Do your best?
Ha!
Funny guy! I think you might actually be taking us all for a ride. Are we all part of some Psych Experiment?
Lab rats?
Careful though, some of us qualify for PETA protection and you don't want to mess with those folks
