Tork

If you were following the news last week, you may have heard of the death of Peter Tork.  He passed away at the age of 77.

He was a much more interesting and creative musician than he was given credit for.  Same also for Michael Nesmith.  Both Tork and Nesmith were quite strong, musically.

Sadly, i did read about Peter Tork's passing and agree with your comment that he and Michael Nesmith were more able musicians than they were given credit for in The Monkees.

I still get pissed when I think about them not being in Rock and Roll hall of fame..

I didn't hear about that. Strangely enough i was thinking about The Monkees today. I would love to revisit the shows. I loved them as a teenager for their quirky humour.
