His rather furry-face is salt-and-pepper grey, and he sports wire-rimmed glasses. In addition to pipe-smoking, philosophy, drinking, and writing, he is an avid hunter and fisherman.

It's still winter, and it has been a hard one. Change is around the corner. It will help.
if you were one of my female friends I would tell you 'chin up tits out'..but since you're not..chin up..
Seems like many of us get times like this and I would be lying not to admit I've had similar days. Then other days all is right with the world. Give it time and hopefully those feelings will pass.
