Nightmares

Today was a really horrible day. I woke this morning after having three different dreams about houses I lived in being destroyed by water.  I could not shake the ill mood these dreams put me in no matter how I tried.  I was grumpy and terse all day,  and I  just going to go to bed.  I hope tomorrow is a better day.

Quiet Sunday

We all went out as a family and ate dinner at a nice Indian restaurant .  The food was good!  Then we went looking around a home supply store for an hour or two.  Calm and serene.

Heh.  I am feeling pretty good at the moment.  My gullet is filled with beautiful elixer of an amber sort.  Ample pipes have been consumed as well.  It feels very pleasant, indeed.

I do not know if I am a fool or not, but having this respite on a Friday has been a routine of mine for quite a while and it is indeed pleasant.  :)

Now, if only I could figure out a way to again go to the point where I only indulge in my beautiful pipes on Fridays such as this.  Then all would be near perfect.

Just Sitting After My Walk

I am just sitting here after my walk, contemplating what to do with the day.  I am letting the dog have one additional te to relieve herself before I head in to take a shower.  It is a cooler, 46 degrees outside, as I smoke my pipe, while thinking.  I have a grant to work on and a class to prepare, but overall it is a lighter day.
